Sweet! was established in January 2011 by Stars Redmond. We're calling it a creative talent agency because EVERYONE involved in Sweet! - from the artists we do online marketing for and manage, the extremely talented people we're working with in our collective, the artists we'll be releasing through our record label all the way through to us working at Sweet! are all creatively talented individuals, it's a theme we've got going here, we're into it. The idea behind it is that we wanted to have an outlet to do everything we wanted; manage artists, do online marketing, work with photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, fashion designers and video directors alike - all under one roof. We didn't want to limit ourselves to one market or industry, we crave the freedom to apply our skills across all creative industries, if that means throwing us in at the deep end - all the more reason, we're still learning and will continue to do so - we welcome a challenge. Stars has been working in the music industry full-time since 2005, which began with doing digital marketing. Holding in-house positions at Universal-Island Records and EMI, then freelancing - having retainers with fantastic labels such as 679 Recordings and working with artists across all sorts of labels from Domino to Columbia. Freelancing also gave way to artist management, as a result of wanting to be far more involved than simply online, which she has been doing for over 3 years now. A brief stint in fashion PR happened in 2009 to find out how different a world it is to music, this - along with becoming increasingly fascinated by the arts led to the launch of Sweet! We can't stress enough how passionate we are with our work, we really are doing what we love and it shows in our enthusiasm with our clients and the high standard we persevere to deliver. Learn a little more about what we do by visiting the management, marketing, recordings and collective homepages. Don't forgot to cop a browse of our blog, too. P.S. Join our mailing list to stay up-to-date on any and all Sweet! developments. |
